FROM A FORGE TO A GLOBAL PLAYER

For decades towbars, cycle carriers, trailers and motorhomes from Rheda-Wiedenbrück have been popular products for leisure, holidays, hobbies and business.
It can be said that Westfalia moves people's lives - since 1844.

Today, Westfalia consists of two companies: Westfalia-Automotive GmbH and Westfalen Mobil GmbH. Both originated from the former company Westfalia-Werke, but today they are legally and economically independent. While Westfalen Mobil GmbH is expanding its motorhomes, the core business of Westfalia-Automotive GmbH includes towbars, wiring kits, coding systems and cycle carriers.

The Westfalia brand is a synonym for quality, reliability and freedom. With products from Westfalia-Automotive, you can turn every day into an adventure.

The milestones of our 175-year history can be found below in words and pictures.
